The hotel is run by Scots born owners Frances Oates and John Clotworthy, who
have gained international renown for the hotel as “The Highland Home of Malt Whisky”, winning numerous awards for both the collections and presentations of Scotland’s National drink. In 2004 after 2 years of campaigning, they were granted a distillery licence - the first private licence in 190 years. Read more on the Lochewe Distillery.
